French artist, former student of the Decorative Arts of Paris, founder of Dark Impressionism, an art movement that seeks to rediscover the essence of art as a vector of spirituality and the search for the sacred, here in painting as a future echo of Impressionism inscribed in the continuity of art history, successor and synthesis of Monet, De Staël, Soulages, where abstraction returns to figuration, nourished by its ethereal, post-apocalyptic, post-civilization dimension. It is an Impressionism of silence, where blacks are shadows, and shadows are silences. The paintings are windows that carry us towards a fleeting moment of escape, this forgetfulness of self, this transport that manifests itself in the observer faced with the painting that attempts to evoke an elsewhere, a memory of a foreign memory, a presence, a shore, a mirage, a mist of the ages, where time disappears, where I become the traveller of an elsewhere, far away.
