홍익대학교 미술대학에서 판화와 회화를 전공하고 동 대학원 회화과를 졸업했다. ‘Street’ 시리즈 등 작품
에 고양이 나나를 담아 자신을 대변해온 작가는 끊임없이 작품 세계를 확장했고, 알브레히트 뒤러의 ‘묵시
록 (Apocalypse)’ 에 대한 오마주를 표현한 ‘New Vertical Painting’ 시리즈로 2019년 제24회 석주미술
상을 받았다. 카이스갤러리 서울과 홍콩, 성북구립미술관, 상하이의 리앙 프로젝트 코 스페이스 (Liang
Project Co Space), 타이중의 아트에이지 (Artage) 등에서 개인전을 개최했고 세종문화회관, 클레이아
크 김해미술관 등에서 열린 다수의 그룹전에 참여했다. 국립현대미술관과 경기문화재단에서 그녀의 작품
을 소장하고 있다

She majored in printmaking and painting at the College of Fine Arts at Hongik University and
graduated from the university’s Graduate School of Painting. The artist, who has continually
expanded her artistic world by incorporating her cat Nana into works such as the “Street”
series to represent herself, received the 24th Seokju Art Award in 2019 for her “New Vertical
Painting” series, an homage to Albrecht Dürer’s “Apocalypse.” She has held solo exhibitions at
various venues, including the Cai’s Gallery in Seoul and Hong Kong, the Seongbuk Museum of
Art, Liang Project Co Space in Shanghai, and Artage in Taichung. Additionally, she has
participated in numerous group exhibitions at venues such as the Sejong Center for the
Performing Arts and Clayarch Gimhae Museum. Her works are part of the collections at the
National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation.
