이사라 작가는 홍익대학교 미술학박사를 졸업했으며, 다수의 개인전을 열며 활발하게 활동하고 있는 작가
이다. 작가가 캔버스에 담는 주제는 ‘wonderland’로 그의 꿈의 세계이자, 사랑과 행복, 호기심이 가득한
세상이다. 그의 작품 속에 등장하는 여러 소녀들은 자신의 소망을 대신 이루어 주는 존재로, 어린시절 경험
했던 추억을 떠올려 만든 가상 이미지의 혼합체라고 한다. 그는 동심과 호기심, 상상에서 영감을 얻으며 반
짝반짝한 눈망울의 소녀와 몬스터 친구들이 함께 wonderland로 여행을 떠나는 이야기를 담아낸다.

Artist Lee Sara holds a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Hongik University and is an active artist with
numerous solo exhibitions. The theme she explores on her canvases is “wonderland,” a world
of dreams filled with love, happiness, and curiosity. The various girls that appear in her works
are entities that fulfill her desires, created as a blend of virtual images inspired by memories
from her childhood. Drawing inspiration from childlike innocence, curiosity, and imagination,
she depicts stories of girls with sparkling eyes and their monster friends as they embark on
journeys to wonderland.
