ABOUT ARTIST

 Thanaporn Sukcharoen was born in 1992 in Thailand. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (Sculpture) from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, in 2016. Thanaporn’s creative work is often characterized by vibrant colors and inspired by stories and experiences from her everyday life.

 Currently, Thanaporn is a glass artist under BGC Glass Studio. She is one of the first artists in Thailand to use glass as a medium for artistic expression. Thanaporn has participated in numerous international glass art exhibitions and events, such as the Thailand Glass Art Festival 2018 organized by BGC Glass Studio at Siam Paragon, the “Class” Clay & Glass International Symposium 2019 at Chulalongkorn University, and the International Superior Glass Art Education 2020 project hosted by the Glass and Ceramic Design Department at Namseoul University in South Korea.
